At the start of my career, a senior figure in the international exhibition industry told me that I have “the convention bug”- and that it would never leave me. 25 years later, I can confidently say that truer words have never been spoken.

I stepped into the world of international management right after completing my BA and MA in Germany and quickly realized that connecting people across borders and facilitating international collaboration is a strong skill and passion of mine. After working for the Munich and Abu Dhabi Convention Centers, I led the trade show department at the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo and thrived on the creative challenge of identifying opportunities for trade, commerce, and institutional and diplomatic cooperation and representation.

 

As a managing partner, back in Munich, I lead international business operations of an agency serving global convention clients in Germany, organizing national pavilions abroad, and developing partnerships with regional/federal governments and trade institutions domestically and internationally.

 

I carried my passion for international business and market development from Munich to Las Vegas, where I embraced new opportunities to consult with national and international clients on expanding their global reach. This included advising on strategic partnerships, market entry, and business matchmaking across industries. Guiding clients through the complexities of international growth—often supported by trade shows and corporate events—has remained a rewarding and consistent element of my consulting work

 

As a multilingual professional, I continuously embrace the challenges that come with bridging cultures and ensure that projects run smoothly across international boundaries. My dynamic career has honed my strong organizational and management skills and I have come to master the art of balancing tight deadlines with the ever-changing demands that arise in high-pressure environments. Any project based task - whether it be organizing a trade show, spearheading a trade mission, developing a product presentation, or leading a press conference - gets my full attention to detail, as I understand that effortless cohesion is infinitely more important than checking boxes.
